Markus Nikel

I am working with broadcast documentaries since more than 30 years, currently mainly as International Advisor and commissioning consultant on acquisitions, pre-acquisitions and coproductions to RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana, in particular to the departments RAI Documentari and RAI Cultura. On documentary and factual matters, I also consult RAI’s Festival Prix Italia and the International Relations Department. A part from my activities for RAI, I have been working with Festivals, broadcasters and broadcasting associations in Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Korea, China and Latin America as a speaker, juror, trainer and programming consultant. I am currently also President of the TV Commission of COPEAM, a network of mediterranean broadcasters coordinated by RAI.
