Shreya Dhame Research Project

Shreya Dhame research poster

Shreya's research focuses on understanding the large-scale interactions of the atmosphere and ocean. She uses satellite observations and large climate model ensembles to study the causes of spatial and temporal patterns of ocean heat uptake and their consequences, for example, in how they interact
with atmospheric feedbacks. She is also interested in estimating the human-induced (or forced) and un-forced patterns of climate change using statistical methods. A direct implication of my research is understanding and constraining climate sensitivity, and thereby increasing our ability to predict how
the climate will change in the near-future under a given radiative forcing.
