We, the Wolfs

As a child, my grandmother always said: "Remember who your great-great-grandfather was." Theodor Wolf, a German Jesuit and researcher who drew the first maps of Ecuador. In Germany he remained in the shadow of Humboldt, in Ecuador evenone of the Galapagos Islands is named after him. Now my grandmother has dementia. While we explore our family history together, an unexpected turn puts our identity into question. A family story between two continents and the question: Who writes our history?
