Hanne graduated from Bauhaus University Weimar with a Degree in Media Studies. She works as a freelance film journalist and was a member of the Doc Alliance Award Jury in 2017. In 2019 she joined Deckert Distribution as festival manager for documentary films. She lives and works in Leipzig.
