Lena Müller
Lena is Head of Acquisitions at Quintus Studios, where she oversees the curation and acquisition of high-quality documentary content for the company’s global digital channel network. With extensive experience in documentary filmmaking and production, she plays a key role in identifying and securing premium content that resonates with audiences worldwide. Reaching over a billion views annually, Quintus Studios' channels rely on Lena’s expertise in sourcing compelling and thought-provoking documentaries.
Previously, Lena worked for BBC Studios for six years, overseeing special projects and documentary co-productions between the BBC and broadcasters in Germany and France. As a filmmaker, her documentary feature Dragan Wende – West Berlin won Best Documentary at the Max Ophüls Festival and was featured in over 100 festivals. Lena is also the creator and festival director of CARBONALE – the Festival for Climate Culture in Berlin, and served for four years as a member of the Friedensfilmpreis Jury at the Berlinale. She joined Quintus Studios as Head of Acquisitions in 2019, continuing her focus on documentary curation and acquisition at a global scale.
