Yuraq Janka - Cordillera Blanca

Yuraq Janka - Cordillera Blanca is a non-fiction transmedia project that tells the story of the Cordillera Blanca (Perú) from the 1930s to the present day.
The project integrates and presents the stories of transformation of the Cordillera Blanca mountain range, the main character, and of those individuals, communities and organizations that face the impacts produced by climate change and that are actively involved in the creation of knowledge around glacier retreat in the region. Yuraq Janka - Cordillera Blanca captures a broad image of the human experience in times of anthropogenic planetary transformation and reveals the fascinating story of the region using different media and integrating new digital technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality.
