Sarah's Short Life

Sarah is suffering from a very rare disease called "progeria", which has made her age at a rapid pace since her second birthday. Sarah knows that her hair will never grow and that she will die soon. Nevertheless, she is a happy and cheerful child.

To her mother Lisbeth, she is a gift; Lisbeth tries to spend as much time as possible with her daughter. The film is a portrait of Sarah and her mother that shows the intensity with which they live their life.
