Batland is a detective story uncovering the secrets of nature's most mysterious and gifted animals. Who hasn't dreamed of flying with wings for arms or hearing landscapes in detail? Yet bats remain shunned, often associated with danger and darkness. 

We follow Sharon, Alona, and Raina as they study bats who've solved problems that still confound us. How do these creatures live extraordinarily long lives, equivalent to humans reaching 250 years? How do they stay youthful while aging and avoid cancer so effectively? Can we uncover their secrets?
According to Raina, we have become the greatest threat to these remarkable animals. When stressed, they can become deadly and the very abilities we admire may become our curse. Can we preserve these creatures, valuable in their own right, while learning from their gifts before it's too late?
