45 year-old, pint size woman rubber tapper, challenge her world class mountain racers, won 4 times, the prestigious yet grueling yearly mountain race known as the Mount Kinabalu International climbathon since its inception in 1987. She is Danny Kuilin, a Malaysian born under the foothill of Mt. Kinabalu, at Kundasang. The race in Malaysia, was the final in the five races of the Skyrunning World Series after Spain, Italy, Switzerland and the United States. Danny won for the 4th time, the 25th Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon in 2011, beating 101 women athletes from around the world, ahead of world renown runners Anna Frost from Team Salomon of New Zealand and Brandy Erholtz, Team New Balance of America. Danny, "All the way up and down, I didn’t think of winning but just to finish the race." A day before the race, Kundasang spiritual specialists perform a ceremony, to appease the guardians of the mountain, as permission for her to enter and run in the trails.
