Jonas Eisenschmidt

Jonas Eisenschmidt is a freelance director, cameraman and editor. After training as a media designer for image and sound at Südwestrundfunk (Southwest Broadcasting) he studied media arts at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. His short film "Imbiss" was screened at national and international festivals and won, among others, the International Short Film Festival Hamburg 2017. Born in 1987 in Montevideo, Uruguay, he moved to southern Germany at the age of four. Jonas is a graduate of the Professional Media Master Class Lab 2018/19 of Werkleitz Gesellschaft in Halle/Saale. Since then he has formed a writing and directing partnership with Constanze Wolpers on documentary projects such as the award-winning short films "Die Experten" and "Weißwasser Rundfahrt 01". They are currently founding their own production company radpaar films in Leipzig.
