Zubir Ahmad bin Mohammad Ismail

Zubir is a research officer of the Royal Belum State Park, he is in charge of handling scientific projects in the park. Since 2023 he has been cooperating with filmmaker Paolo Volponi on the The Tiger Spirit film production. Together they have explored the Royal Belum State Park for months, setting dozens of motion-triggered cameras, collecting preliminary footage that has made it possible to start The Malaysian Jungle Book film project. In his free time, Zubir is a mountain guide associated with the Upper Perak Mountain & Recreational Guides Association.
