Documentary Campus is proud to announce that this year’s pitching of the renowned Documentary Campus Masterschool is being enriched by a Digital-First Production Summit entitled “Nextwave”, with sessions dedicated to digital excellence in storytelling and the new digital-first marketplace. It takes place on October 31 – November 1, 2025 in Halle (Saale), Germany.
With this new summit, Documentary Campus reaffirms its role in keeping training relevant to today’s industry needs. By placing digital-first production at the center of the international marketplace, NEXTWAVE reflects Documentary Campus’s commitment to more long-term, market-ready opportunities for filmmakers. As audiences, platforms, and business models evolve, the seminar is designed to equip producers with the skills, insights, and connections needed to navigate the next wave of factual storytelling.
Curated in collaboration with Justin Crosby, founder of TellyCast Media & Events and a leading voice in the digital-first production economy, NEXTWAVE brings together innovators and decision-makers shaping the future of social video and factual content.
