Pitching Session of the Discovery Campus Masterschool 2001

25 commissioning editors and distributors from Europe and Northern America came to Leipzig to listen to the pitches of the 15 European participants of the Discovery Campus Masterschool 2001. Furthermore five independent German producers presented new documentary projects as guests pitchers. The feedback of the decision makers was extremely positive and constructive. The majority of the projects got additional funding or was fully financed. The 200 observer seats available were totally sold out. The producers, directors, distributors and commissioning editors present enjoyed the weekend as a great chance for networking and learning about programming needs and documentary slots of international broadcasters.
