Final Pitching 2010

The Art of Pitching

Documentary Campus invites you to The Art of Pitching which takes place on 23 & 24 October 2010 in Leipzig. The 15 participants of this year’s Masterschool will pitch their well developed documentary projects for an international audience to up to 45 international commissioning editors and distributors. Furthermore we offer you an attractive afternoon programme on Saturday and a Special Film Screening on Sunday.

REGISTRATION AS OBSERVER:
Interested producers, authors, directors and commissioning editors are invited to register for the Pitching Session as observers. By listening to the pitches and reactions of the decision makers, observers learn more about the slots, profiles and programming requirements of the broadcasters, and will get a good insight into the trends of the international non-fiction market. Registration for observers ends on 10 October 2010.

Register as reelisor Premium Member and get a 10 % discount on the Final Pitching. For more info go to: www.reelisor.com

Register for both events - the DOK Leipzig festival & The Final Pitching and save up to EUR 50.00** of the accreditation fees! (Please send us your registration together with a photo needed for the DOK Leipzig accreditation)!

SURPRISE PITCHES:
Take the fantastic chance and pitch YOUR well-prepared project to an ever increasing number of commissioning editors at the Final Pitching 2010! It has never been easier. Make sure that your business card enters our “Surprise Box” and with a bit of luck, we’ll draw you out of the box to make your project enter the stage!

Together with our partners Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, Sächsische Stiftung für Medienausbildung and the broadcaster MDR, Documentary Campus invites you to exciting days with an extraordinary range of international experts and decisionmakers. Seize the chance to meet commissioning editors and distributors in a personal and friendly atmosphere and to find coproducers for your documentary film projects.

Please note: The number of observer seats is limited! They are given away following the receipt of the registrations. The Pitching Session will be held in English without simultaneous interpreting into German.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you in Leipzig!
