Final Pitching 2004
The Art of Pitching
Pitching Session of the Discovery Campus Masterschool 2004
Discovery Campus invited documentary filmmakers, producers, distributors and commissioning editors to take part in the final pitching of the DISCOVERY CAMPUS MASTERSCHOOL 2004 on 4th and 5th December, 2004. The 15 Masterschool participants presented their documentary projects, developed in this year’s masterclass, to up to 30 international decisionmakers.
The event offered a great opportunity for observers and participants alike to meet commissioning editors and distributors from Europe and North America in a intimate and friendly atmosphere. Listening to the pitches and reactions of the decisionmakers, observers got a good insight into the slots and profiles of the broadcasters, their programming needs and trends in the international non-fiction market.
The decisionmakers invited came from companies and broadcasters such as ARTE Strasbourg, ARTE France, AVRO, BBC, Russia, Channel 4, Discovery Channel Germany, Discovery Networks International, France 5, MDR, NDR, ORF, Parthenon Entertainment, TV Ontario, WDR, YLE, ZDF, etc.
