Films of DCM alumni honoured in Thessaloniki
We are proud to share that two films of Discovery Campus Masterschool alumni were honoured at the 10th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival – Images of the 21st Century (March 7-16, 2008). The Thessaloniki International Film Festival is one of the top film festivals of South Eastern Europe, and the primary and oldest festival in the Balkans for the creations of emerging film makers from all over the world.
“City of Cranes” by Eva Weber, DCM participant in 2007, was awarded the Hellenic Red Cross Audience Award for a film under 45’ (foreign production). Tanaz Eshagian, also a participant in last year’s Masterschool programme, received the FIPRESCI Award (foreign production) for her film “Be Like Others”. We congratulate both filmmakers on their success and wish them all the best for their current projects.
