Presentation of Fair Use Resolution in Brussels

On Thursday, 6 March, documentary filmmakers, producers and broadcasters are invited to come to Brussels to share their thoughts on the future of copyright. Discuss copyright in the documentary practice with experts like Georg Panzer (lawyer and Director of the Norwegian Directors Guild), Marco Visalberghi (Vice-president Doc/It, Italy), Neil Sieling (Center for Social Media, USA), Marcello Mustilli (lawyer specialised in intellectual property issues) and Marijke Rawie (Fair Use Initiative Europe). Filmmakers are encouraged to share their experiences, and bring along DVDs with revealing examples.

The meeting, which is organised in the framework of the European Media Event, will feature a presentation of the recently published Resolution on Freedom of Expression and Information in Documentaries, which is available for download here.

Venue: Press room, VRT Building, Auguste Reyerslaan 52, 1043 Brussels
