More Honours for Mosquito Problem & Other Stories
We are delighted that Andrey Paounov’s feature-length documentary The Mosquito Problem & Other Stories (DCM 2004) continues to move audiences and festival juries alike.
Motovun Film Festival (Croatia) honoured the doc with the FromAtoA award. The award is an attempt to help the films made in the region "from Albania to Austria" to break through their national boundaries and find their audience in neighbouring countries. With the financial donation it aims to stimulate their distribution.
The Mosquito Problem & Other Stories also received the Best Balkan Documentary award at the 6th edition of the International Documentary and Short Film Festival in Prizren (Kosovo). Dokufest 2007 (8-13 August) presented 57 films in the competitive contest, together with 7 special programs featuring another 28 films.
