The Devil’s Miner wins Special Jury Prize in Graz
The Devil’s Miner by Richard Ladkani & Kief Davidson (DCM 2001) won the Special Prize of the Jury 2006 in the category “alpine and foreign cultures” at the International Film festival of Mountain and Adventure Films in Graz (November 8-11, 2006).

Man and mountain wreak mutual destruction upon each other. Two Bolivian miner boys live, work, play, and survive on and in the mountain. They talk about their hopes and dreams with a disarming honesty. A beautifully filmed, emotionally powerful, and socio-politically important work.
