My Life With Carlos (85 min, CL/ES/DE) developed at Masterschool 2005 by director Gérman Berger and producer Bettina Walter will be screened at Hot Docs in the programme section Made in South America.

Synopsis:
A personal investigation of the Chilean director Gérman Berger into the life and work of his father Carlos Berger who was murdered in 1973 under the Pinochet regime by the so-called "Death Convoy."

Kino! 2010: New Films from Germany

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) marks its 31st annual survey of recent German cinema with a move from the fall to the spring, when new German films that screened at the Hof and Berlin film festivals are available for their first New York screenings. This year's selection includes the Oscar-nominated Rabbit à la Berlin, developed at the Masterschool 2006 by Bartek Konopka, Piotr Rosolowski and Anna Wydra, and Comrade Couture, a film about the fashion "industry" in former East Germany by Masterschool graduate Marco Wilms.
