ESoDoc 2010: Last Call!
ESoDoc – European Social Documentary has come to its 7th edition. Also this year the training, promoted by ZeLIG School for Documentary and supported by MEDIA Programme, will accept 22 participants from all “MEDIA countries”, offering three 1-week sessions held over a six month period. During the workshop, participants will develop a documentary project (either individually or in group), with the help of tutors and by means of an e-platform designed to support the tutor-participants' dialogue in the in-between periods.
ESoDoc focuses on a special genre of documentary production that is particularly suitable for the new multiplatform world: documentaries that draw attention to human rights, social justice and environmental protection, particularly in the developing world. ESoDoc wants to prepare professionals for the markets of tomorrow and make them part of the changing audiovisual world.
ESoDoc is intended for professionals who are committed to the goal of social change, who are responsive to the new ways that film is achieving it and who want to develop their own documentary film projects across a 360 degree spectrum.
