Marc Eberle's Masterschool Film nominated for North German Film Prize
We are delighted to announce that Marc Eberle’s film The Most Secret Place on Earth - The CIA's Covert War in Laos, developed at the Masterschool 2003, is nominated for the North German Film Prize 2009. The film was produced by Gebrueder Beetz Filmproduktion, NDR / ARTE / WDR, with the support of film fund Hamburg, NRW and MEDIA NEW TALENTS.
The 2009 North German Film Prize, awarded by the state governments of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, will be presented on 7 November at the 51st Nordic Film Days in Lübeck. The prize is awarded in four categories - “Best Feature Film”, “Best Documentary Film”, “Best Script” and “Best Feature Film (TV)” - and is endowed with EUR 75,000 in total (EUR 25,000 more than in the previous year).
