The Solitary Life of Cranes and Rabbit à la Berlin selected for the IDA's 13th Annual DocuWeeks

The Solitary Life of Cranes by filmmaker Eva Weber (DCM Alumni 2007) and Rabbit à la Berlin (developed within the Documentary Campus Masterschool 2006) by Bartek Konopka and Piotr Rosolowski were selected for the IDA's 13th Annual DocuWeeks which helps to qualify feature and short documentaries for Academy Award® consideration.

Rabbit à la Berlin will be screened at the IFC Center in New York at the following dates:

DocuWeeks, run by the International Documentary Association (IDA), was developed to give outstanding new feature and short documentaries an opportunity to qualify for Oscar consideration by providing theatrical platforms where their films can be seen. Since 1997, DocuWeeks has qualified at least 133 short and feature length documentaries for the awards race, among them the Oscar winners 'Smile Pinki' and 'Taxi to the Dark Side'.
