Synopsis:
Wild Dog Island
A coproduction of Animal Planet US, Animal Planet International, France 5 and ORF.
Wild Dog Island is a story featuring large-than-life characters, both human and animal. It’s set on an island paradise in a far off country and stars a number of hungry hunters who will stop at nothing. Located in the baking Zimbabwean bushland it follows the footsteps of two researchers united by their passion to save one of the least known animals in the world, the African wild dog. Peter and Jealous are going to set up a unique experiment and give five orphaned dogs a chance to experience paradise.
