BRITDOC is the bespoke documentary film festival connecting top international funders, distributors, and filmmakers, and takes place in the beautiful surrounds of Keble College in Oxford, in the United Kingdom.

The themes of 2008 are... Comedy and Music! In attendance will be Larry Charles (Director of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Borat), who is bringing sneak previews of his new film Religulous. Our special host of musicians include Mercury Prize nominee Nitin Sawhney, and acclaimed composers Michael Nyman and Jonathan Dove.

Our international programme this year is a Best Of Fests selection, with five top programmers from SUNDANCE, BERLIN, TORONTO, IDFA and SXSW bringing their favourite documentary from their last festival to share with you.

Also taking place this year are our renowned surgery sessions. All registered delegates will be able to sign up for one-on-one advisory meetings with key industry experts from around the world, like Cara Mertes (Sundance Institute), John Courier (Programmer, Sundance Festival), Cynthia Kane (ITVS Fund), and Ryan Harrington (Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund).
