As a charitable association registered in Munich, Documentary Campus e.V. is a strictly non-profit organisation. Launched in 2000 by German media enterprises, the association was joined in 2003 by selected European non-fiction companies. Member companies support the initiative financially and benefit by gaining access to new ideas and projects, qualified professionals and high-quality training.

Anemon Productions is an independent production company based in Athens, Greece. It was founded in 2003, bringing together the expertise of five filmmakers and producers. Anemon produces documentaries and television programmes for the Greek and international market. Recent work includes co-productions with ARTE, ZDF, YLE, HISTORY TV, AVRO, TV3, TSR, ERT, SKAI TV and the GREEK FILM CENTRE, and focuses on society, history and current affairs. The company also develops and produces international cross-media projects in partnership with museums and educational institutions.

DocLab Productions srl. is an independent production company based in Rome, Italy. It was founded in 1999 by producer-director Marco Visalberghi on the strength of his 20 year experience producing science and natural history documentaries for the Italian and international markets. DocLab tends to focus on science, history, culture and current affairs, more recently developing a number of feature-length documentary projects. It works in partnership with Gabriel Films in the US, La Compagnie des Taxi Brousse and Bonne Pioche in France, and Ma.Ja.De in Germany.

Junge Goetter has a long experience in producing docu Soaps and factual entertainment, developing of TV-Shows and format, as well as story developing for fictional and non fictional projects. Junge Goetter momentarily consists of 15 employees and one director.

SPIEGEL TV SPIEGEL TV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the well-known German magazine "Der SPIEGEL", has been around for more than two decades now. The original aim was to present classical SPIEGEL-style journalism in a manner suitable for television. What started out in 1988 with SPIEGEL TV MAGAZIN has grown into a production company with two of its own television channels, SPIEGEL GESCHICHTE and SPIEGEL TV Digital, and six different broadcast windows on RTL, Sat.1 and VOX. The 240 staff members supplied last year 508 hours of factual programming. SPIEGEL TV is an award-winning producer with a strong focus on history, science, discovery, social issues and current affairs. Its productions acclaim regularly the audiences and critics – many of them produced in cooperation with broadcasters like ARD, ZDF, ARTE, BBC, WGBH, National Geographic.

Spring Films is a UK TV production company, led by the noted film-maker and former BBC commissioner, Dr. André Singer. Formerly with West Park Pictures, André Singer has moved his entire team and launched a new entity, Spring Films. While at the BBC, André Singer initiated the whole Michael Palin travel series starting with Pole to Pole and the Fine Cut strand, which later became Storyville. He has worked with Stephen Fry (2007 Emmy Award winner) on numerous BBC shows, including a recent a six-part series Stephen Fry: in America. (Winner of the National Television Award 2010) and a follow-up BBC series, Last Chance to See (6 x 1hrs). With more than 300 hours of programming to his credit, Andre has also produced several films with acclaimed director Werner Herzog. Spring Films latest Herzog film will be Death Row (2011) a feature length documentary (for cinema/More4 True Stories) also re-made as a four-part series for Channel 4.

West Park Pictures, a factual division of DCD Media, is a production company based in London specializing in documentaries for the international marketplace. Led by André Singer, West Park Pictures has had considerable success in the past few years with its work with German director Werner Herzog (The Wild Blue Yonder, Opera Short: La Bohème) and with presenter and polymath Stephen Fry (Stephen Fry: HIV & Me, Stephen Fry in America, winner of a National Television Award 2010, and Last Chance to See).
