As a charitable association registered in Munich, Documentary Campus e.V. is a strictly non-profit organisation. Launched in 1998 by German media enterprises, the association was joined in 2003 by selected European non-fiction companies. Member companies support the initiative financially and benefit by gaining access to new ideas and projects, qualified professionals and high-quality training.

Anemon Productions was founded in 2003, bringing together the expertise of five filmmakers and producers. Located in the centre of Athens, Anemon produces documentaries and television programmes for Greece and the international market. Autentic’s team helps broadcasters and aggregators to bridge the gap between creative resource and the engaged viewer. Autentic was founded in 2008 by Patrick Hörl and Jan Mojto. The company is based in Oberhaching near Munich, Germany. Held by Patrick Hörl and Jan Mojto’s BetaFilm, one of Europe’s biggest distributor of TV content, Autentic offers a unique background of expertise in both the German and international market.

Discovery Networks Germany. Since June 1985, DISCOVERY CHANNEL has been a byword for successful non-fiction TV programming and has constantly emphasised the importance of conveying information in a popular form. Discovery Networks in Germany has been broadcasting DISCOVERY CHANNEL since 1996, ANIMAL PLANET since 2004 and Discovery Geschichte since 2005 in the German-speaking countries. All three 24-hour channels are available via the pay TV platform Premiere in Germany and Austria and the Teleclub in Switzerland. In February 2006 Discovery Networks launched the HDTV channel Discovery HD on Premiere. On 1 September 2006 DMAX, Germany's first factual entertainment channel targeted primarily at men for men, was launched. Since its launch DMAX has expanded its reach and more than tripled its share of the market, thus gaining a firm footing in the German TV arena. The broadcaster’s appealing home-grown productions, which make up over 50% of primetime broadcasts, and a range of international programming reflecting the interests and lifestyles of men are received by more than 31 million households. DMAX is available 24 hours a day in analog and digital satellite. It is also included in the German cable network and is available via DVB-T in metropolitan areas.

Gebrüder Beetz Filmproduktion was founded in 2000 by the brothers Reinhardt and Christian Beetz. Due to their success, the company structure was adapted in 2008 and transferred to a Public Limited Company. Gebrüder Beetz Filmproduktion is one of the few German production companies specialising in the production and distribution of documentary programmes worldwide. In collaboration with authors and international independent producers, GBF develops and produces creative, award-winning documentaries, TV theme evenings, documentary series, reports and cultural TV magazines. Besides producing documentaries for the German national market, our goal is to produce high quality TV productions for the European and international market. Accordingly, GBF has established an extensive network with coproducers worldwide. SPIEGEL TV is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the well-known German political print magazine "Der SPIEGEL". The entry of the SPIEGEL Group into the television market began in 1988. In cooperation with the Development Company for Television Programs (dctp) the publishing house was able to secure fixed time slots on various German Private TV Stations. Today, there are five different SPIEGEL TV formats, which are aired on RTL, Sat.1 and VOX. The 270 staff members of SPIEGEL TV supply over 1200 minutes of broadcast per week. West Park Pictures has concentrated on feature documentaries, history, anthropology and science programmes, and the company has collaborated with Werner Herzog over the past few years as a co-producer of "Wheel of Time", "The White Diamond", and with André Singer as producer of "The Wild Blue Yonder". Among current productions are the 5-part series “Stephen Fry’s in America” for BBC1 and an HD series on Traditional Art.

Wunderbox is an independent production house for factual programmes in Holland. In 2007 the Wunderbox team of eight has worked on various factual films for the international TV market and informative programmes for children for Dutch public and commercial broadcasters. Wunderbox was founded in 2005 by Jan-Pieter Stafleu. After he left Palazzina, the successful international production indie which started in 1997, he focussed on making more specialised programmes from a nice workshop in a park in the centre of Amsterdam. Apart from three successful and well received children’s series, two TV films are finished: Cultivating the Desert, a 52 documentary about the cultural ambitions of Dubai and the difficulties to build a city for real people overnight. And: In his shoes. A biopic about one of Holland’s greatest designers, recently turned 65, shoe designer Jan Jansen. Wunderbox is part of IDTV, an All3media Company.
