Harvest of Lies

Ave Maria is a documentary film that deals with the necessary regulation of cannabis in Europe and the consequences of its prohibition in the world: an analysis of the current consumer society, an analogy between the correct and the politically correct.

Although this industry continues to be dominated by men, the influence of women is growing. Our female protagonists are the engine of change in many parts of the world and are leading to an emerging and disruptive economy: from its cultivation to its processing, we will follow the path of cannabis from producer countries such as Nepal or Lebanon to Europe, the US, Canada and Australia. The large-scale cannabis production will be treated as an example of global economy.
