"The Devil's Miner" to premiere at Rotterdam Film Festival

After working on it for seven years, Kief Davidson and Richard Ladkani, who attended the Discovery Campus Masterschool in 2001, have finally completed their film. It will be shown for the first time on January 30, 2005, at the Rotterdam Film Festival. Davidson's and Ladkani's documentary has also been selected for running in the competition of the Mexico City Film Festival and has been nominated in the category of "Best Documentary" at New York's Tribeca Film Festival.

"The Devil's Miner" tells the story of 14 year-old Basilio who worships the devil for protection while working in a Bolivian silver mine to support his family.
