Crossing Borders is excited to announce the first round of selected projects for the 2018 programme, which will take place in Taipei, Taiwan (July) and in Leipzig, Germany (October).

The first group of selected projects and teams come from Europe and Asia/South East Asia, and at the Crossing Borders workshops they will be joined by 10-12 projects from the 2018 partner country Taiwan. The Taiwanese projects will be announced by mid-July.

Crossing Borders is an international training programme launched in 2010 by Documentary Campus and the EDN – European Documentary Network. It brings together filmmakers and documentary experts from both Europe and Asia, who are highly motivated to collaborate with each other across national borders, and have the ambition to enter each other’s markets both artistically and financially.

The 2018 edition is organised in partnership with Fox Networks Group Asia Pacific Limited, and is supported by Ministry of Culture, Taiwan and the Creative Europe Media Programme of the European Union.
